Capabilities

Built for owners, founders, and investors, across services, consumer and luxury brands, design, technology, logistics, and real estate. The catalog below is the same whatever the business sells.

Advisory Services

Three groups of work.

Financial infrastructure Cash visibility that holds

Cash Flow Model

Project

A rolling thirteen week forecast built from your own receipts and commitments, then handed over with a maintenance protocol so the team can run it without us.

DeliverableThe working model, a written protocol, and one training session.

Driver-Based Forecast and KPI Dashboard

Project

A model tied to the real operating levers of the business rather than last year plus ten percent, plus a dashboard the owner will actually open.

DeliverableDriver model with scenarios, live dashboard, and a definitions sheet for every metric.

Monthly Reporting Package

Retainer

Financial statements with written variance commentary, KPI trends, and an agenda built around the decisions that month actually requires.

DeliverableA packaged monthly report and a standing review.

Decision support The memo behind the decision

Investment and Underwriting Memo

Project

Full analysis of a specific acquisition, expansion, or capital decision, written to the standard a committee or a lender expects.

DeliverableWritten memo, underlying model, sensitivity set, and a stated recommendation.

Market Entry Analysis

Project

Sizing, entry mode, cost structure, and regulatory risk for a business entering a new market. Available globally, with engagement experience across the United States, the EU, and Latin America.

DeliverableEntry analysis, cost and staffing model, and a phased plan with decision gates.

Valuation and Exit Readiness

Project

What the business is worth, what depresses the number, and what to fix first. Prepared for the owner, not for a marketing exercise.

DeliverableValuation range with method, a diligence gap list, and a ranked remediation plan.

Execution Systems that run themselves

AI Readiness and Opportunity Assessment

Project

A structured read of the tools, data, and workflows already in the business, delivered as a ranked list rather than a vendor tour.

DeliverableWritten assessment, a ranked opportunity list scored on cost, effort, and payback, and a go/no-go call on each item.

AI Strategy and Implementation Roadmap

Project

Build versus buy, vendor and model selection, phased sequencing, and the governance guardrails, written before anything ships.

DeliverableWritten roadmap, vendor shortlist with a stated recommendation, a governance one-pager, and a phased plan with decision gates.

AI and Automation Build-Out

Scoped per engagement

Replacing manual reporting, data entry, and follow-up with systems that run themselves. Bank and ledger feeds, document handling, client and vendor follow-up, and the assembly of the monthly package.

DeliverableWorking automations in your own systems, documentation, and a named owner on your side trained to run them.

Fractional Finance Support

Retainer

Senior finance capability delivered on a defined cadence rather than as a headcount. This is a delivery mode for the work above, not a seat on your org chart.

DeliverableA fixed monthly cadence of reporting, forecasting, and decision support.

Fractional AI Integration Support

Retainer

Ongoing capacity to keep the automation and AI layer current: evaluating new tools before they get bought, retraining prompts and models as the business changes, and running adoption with the team that has to use them daily.

DeliverableA fixed monthly cadence of build, maintenance, tool evaluation, and adoption support.

How to read this

Fees are based on each engagement (entity count, data condition, and jurisdictions in play).

Valuation work is not certified appraisal or fairness opinion. We do not sign filings, give tax or legal advice.

Real Estate Capital

Analytical and operational support for investors and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). Third-party evaluations for investors who need another set of eyes before capital moves.

Two groups of work, and one boundary.

Investor due diligence Deal underwriting

Deal Underwriting and Financial Model

Per deal

Underwriting of a specific opportunity, built to the standard a capital partner expects to see. Can be bought on its own, one deal at a time.

DeliverableWorking model, sensitivity set, and a written memo with a stated recommendation.

Third-Party Evaluation

Per deal

An independent read of a deal or an existing holding for an investor who needs another set of eyes before committing.

DeliverableWritten evaluation, the assumptions we would change, and the questions to put back to the deal team.

Market and Submarket Analysis

Per engagement

Comparable sets, absorption, and the demand drivers behind a market or asset class, written for the investor weighing an entry.

DeliverableWritten analysis with the comparable set and the sources behind it.

Company expansion Criteria & systems

Acquisition Criteria Design

Per engagement

Written criteria for an investor scaling into a new market or asset class, so every opportunity is screened the same way.

DeliverableA criteria sheet, a scoring template, and the pass or fail thresholds.

Pipeline Screening

Per engagement

Opportunities the investor has sourced, screened against the stated criteria, with the reason behind each pass.

DeliverableScreened pipeline with scores and a short note on each opportunity.

Process and Systems Build-Out

Per engagement

Intake, underwriting templates, tracking, and reporting for the acquisition team running the pipeline.

DeliverableDocumented process, working templates, and a named owner on your side trained to run them.

Ongoing Analytical Coverage

Retainer

Standing coverage of a pipeline or a portfolio on a fixed monthly cadence, scoped to volume.

DeliverableA fixed monthly cadence of screening, underwriting, and reporting.

What we do not do Scope boundary

Scope and compliance statement

Morro Advisory Group does not act as a broker in any capacity. We do not hold property, do not transact as a principal or on behalf of investors or property owners, do not represent property owners, and do not perform any activity requiring a real estate license. All work is financial analysis and evaluation delivered to the investor or REIT that engages us, which holds the capital, makes the decision, and carries its own licensing and compliance in each jurisdiction. No fee is tied to whether a deal closes or to the value of a transaction. Evaluation of a syndication, fund, or REIT interest is financial analysis only, not investment advice or a securities recommendation. Valuation work is not a certified appraisal.

Who the client is

Investors and REITs. We are engaged by the party making the decision and work only for that party.

Fee structure

Fees are fixed per model or fixed per month. No fee is tied to whether a deal closes or to the value of a transaction.

How to engage

Three routes in, all equal. A single deliverable is a complete engagement, priced and scoped as one.

Route I

À la carte

One named deliverable. Fixed fee, fixed timeline, handover and done.

Route II

Bundled Program

Two or more deliverables sequenced across 60 to 180 days at a program fee.

Route III

Retainer

Ongoing capacity on a fixed monthly cadence. Six month minimum.

Retainer seats

Route III capacity comes in three seats. Each is scoped as management or operational, in writing, before it starts.

Seat I

Fractional CFO

The capital structure, the margin, and the reporting the owner actually runs on.

Seat II

Fractional CEO

The plan, the team, and the cadence that holds them, at board level or in the day to day.

Seat III

Fractional AI Integration Specialist

The tool stack, the automation layer, and the adoption roadmap.

Retainer terms

Six month minimum

The floor for retainer clients. Shorter work is a project, priced as one.

Exit criteria in writing

Defined at the start, so both sides know what completion looks like before the first invoice.

Reviewed every 90 days

Deliverables are re-read each quarter and adjusted in writing if the work has changed.

Project fee credited

Against the first month of a retainer that starts within 30 days of handover.
